In my 57 years I have never seen this degree of hatred launched at one individual. It was reported that Michael might be playing on the United Football League. The mockery was extreme. I have read some of the sites that are against Vick but I must say they are not as big as this one. And that tells me that he continues to have a large and caring fan base, I recently heard that he may be playing in 2009 and that is the best news I have heard in a long time. His sentence certainly did not fit the crime but it will all be over soon. I will continue to pray for him and his family and I do look forward to seeing him walk out those doors in just a few more months. Hang in there Michael you are almost there. Confused |
Will someone help me understand the hatred being directed toward Michael Vick. This degree of hatred is unreal. It is as though evil has been unleashed. I continue to pray for Vick and his family. I realize that he and his family needs support now more than ever. Pray and ask God to give them strength to endure. I also pray for those who are unleashing such madness against Vick. These peole are tossing stones as though they had never done anything which they now regret. Jesus told those who wanted to condemn the woman caught in sin "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." They all slipped away. Those casting stones at Vick should examine their hearts. Vick has asked for forgiveness. Vick, those who care will always care. It is during times like these that we discover our true friends. |

Recently, it was announced that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was indicted on charges that he
was allegedly tied to a gambling and dog fighting ring. On July 23, 2007,
the NFL's Roger Goodell suspended Vick, despite having not been convicted of
anything.
